Congratulations to Stroud High Students!

We have a few special student mentions to make from the last month: 

  • Naomi Walker, Year 8,  won her bowed strings class (cello) in the Swindon Music Festival and was also selected to compete in the 'Best of Instrumentalists' class
  • Sisters Holly and Daisy Henderson, Years 9 and 7, took home many medals from the recent Bristol Dance Festival. Dasiy won 1st in lyrical modern, 2nd in ballet and 3rd in modern. Holly won 1st in modern, 2nd in tap, 2nd in character, 2nd in ballet and 3rd in national
  • Congratulations to ex-student Cordelia O'Driscoll who has finished a week's run at the Pleasance Theatre in London of her play, 'Buried', after winning The Sunday Times National Student Drama Festival Edinburgh award https://www.nsdf.org.uk/latest-news/awards-2018
  • Georgia Headlong, Year 7, currently represented England at chess in the U13 Girls section at the World Schools Chess Championships in Albania
