Fifteen Stroud High students headed off to Geneva to play a part in the Human Rights Council at the United Nations. The students engaged in a number of workshops and delivered speeches on varied topics ranging from child’s rights, FGM and sustainable development goals. Each met with the UK delegation to receive feedback and updates on the negotiations of the UK Government’s role at the United Nations. The students have commented on how it is a ‘life changing’ experience and how they will become change makers once back in Stroud. Thanks for NAWO for accrediting each Stroud High student.
