'Juvenes Translatores' Translating Competition

Stroud High has once again been selected as one of 73 schools representing the UK, in the prestigious 'Juvenes Translatores' translating competition taking place today across Europe, with the winner having a chance to attend an award ceremony in Brussels, in Spring 2018.

Five of our sixth form students took up the challenge, translating an interesting text about the European Union from Spanish into English, with the aim of making is sound like an authentic piece of English text. It is great to see our highly skilled sixth form using their excellent translation skills.

We wish them every success!
