We were delighted to hear about Year 10 student Bryony achieving both the Industrial Cadet Silver Award and the Crest Silver Award with the RAF this summer. Bryony was one of 100 girls from all over the UK who were chosen to take part in the RAF 100 STEM Course this August. This was a five day residential course held at RAF Cosford in the West Midlands and provided an introduction to the world of engineering.
Bryony was presented with certificates by Air Vice-Marshall Susan Gray who is the highest ranking woman in our armed forces and Director of Combat Air responsible for the procurement and maintenance of all combat aircraft for the armed forces. Congratulations to Bryony from us all at SHS!
