Stroud High Successes!

We have heard some brilliant news about our students recently. Special mentions go to the following students:

Congratulations to Poppy in Year 11 on securing a place on Vodaphone's #codelikeagirl programme. She handled the application and interview process completely independently and should be justifiably proud of her success.

Well done to Georgia in Year 7 who represented the South West of England U14 Chess Team in their match against Wales. There were 12 players in the team from across the SW region, and Georgia was the only girl in the team.

Chloe from Year 7 swims for Severnside and achieved 10 regional qualifying times for Swimming. She has swam at the South West Regional Championships and she reaching 6 finals and took two bronze medals in 100m front crawl and 200m backstroke. This was her first regionals and now she has been chosen along with 35 other children in the South West to attend a Regional development Pathway camp which is fantastic news. We look forward to hearing how she gets on.

Well done to Amelie in Year 7 for taking part in the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival at Builth Wells recently. Amelie completed her 3K hilly trail run under very hot sunny conditions, receiving a specially engraved slate medal for her achievement.
