Stroud High School is a high achieving school.
In 2025, our students achieve a 100% pass rate at A Level. Of whom, 39% achieved a set of grades equivalent to AAB or above.
In 2025, 100% of our students achieved both English Language and Maths at grade 4 or above. Over half of our students achieved a full set of 9 GCSEs at grade 9-7, with over a third of our students achieving at least 8 GCSEs at grade 9 or 8.
The DfE’s Progress 8 measures progress made by students from the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6 SATs) to the end of Key Stage 4 (GCSEs).
Stroud High School has consistently had one of the highest Progress 8 scores in Gloucestershire. This measure was not calculated in the years in which students did not sit public examinations, due to the COVID pandemic. Furthermore, as the latest cohort to sit GCSEs did not sit SATs in Year 6, there is no Progress 8 score for the 2025 results.
