Wellbeing

"Pupils celebrate each other’s differences and play a positive role in creating a tolerant community. They cooperate exceptionally well and actively support each other’s wellbeing."
Ofsted 2023

We help our Sixth Form students become confident and brave through a wide range of leadership opportunities where they get to make a real difference. Our scholarship and wider reading programme helps them become curious. Through our outreach work, enrichment activities, ambassador opportunities and charity events they learn to be courteous, honourable and respectful. And we make it fun by connecting with like-minded individuals. Our students are happy by being themselves and part of our forward thinking and dynamic community.

We know that having support, excellent trusting relationships with all members of the SHSF community, and being nurtured is important to success. That’s why we listen and we care. We have a dedicated SHSF team on hand to offer guidance and support across all aspects of your time with us.

Advice is always available for any academic study concerns, including practical help with managing workload and coordinating being a busy member of our Sixth Form. Pastoral support is also available for issues relating to health, wellbeing, family and relationships, including working with outside agencies.

In addition, you will also be able to ask for assistance from your Sixth Form Tutor and the leaders of the Sixth Form team.
