Year on year our students achieve results that place
Stroud High School amongst the very highest performing state schools in the South West, and within the top state schools in the country.

High quality examination performance has
been sustained over a number of years. Every year,
approximately three quarters of A Levels are graded
from A*-B, and routinely around half of all grades
are at A*/A. 

2025 A Level Results

In 2025, our students achieve a 100% pass rate at A Level. Of whom, 39% achieved a set of grades equivalent to AAB or above. 

• 14% of all A level grades were A*
• 40% of all A level grades were A*-A  
• 74% of all A level grades were A*-B  
• 90% of all A level grades were A*-C
